Okay so i am really, really sad and disappointed in tumblr for committing suicide on the 17th by banning NSFW posts. I had dis blog for so long now and really enjoyed posting on here and helping others get off lol. It is really hard to see my blog (and all the other NSFW blogs) being banned just like that, after investing so much time and effort into it. Also it really angers me to see all those social media platforms doing this censorship, witch in a way primarily targets the LGBTQ+ community by taking away this form of exchange. I’m guessing the tumblr staff’s decision also prohibits showing female nipples which obviously is a whole new problematic in itself and a huge step in the wrong direction. Social media platforms should be an accepting place for people to communicate and express themself free from censorship. Sadly this decision does the opposite, it is anti-feminist, anti-queer, anti-body positivity and robs people of their safe space and form of self expression.
