So my girl Sash and I have been doing the clatchet thing for quite a few years now... we met back at People en Español when we were young tenderonis embarking on the quest of conquering a piece of the pie that is entertainment. Our friendship was AUTHENTIC from the get- and that’s why we are still friends. And so I wanted to give her a shout out, for being a bomb ass chica with a heart of gold who also keeps running these NYC streets with me.

Okay... maybe not a fitness model yet lol But this was a fun way to start my week.

I don’t even know where to begin with this. To be in prison for something you didn’t do. To be beat up. To be abused. To deal with your own personal demons. To feel like no one understands and that things are too much to handle... All of it makes me sad. I wish he knew there was hope and things would get better. Mental health is so important to me. I always check in with myself and ask: how do I feel today? why do I feel that way? And if things sound irrational I try to recognize it. I try to stop any downward spirals. Some of us have no cares in the world while others struggle with different things each day. I wish him peace.
