heavy on feeling like momentum died after she got drafted! she was gaining so much traction and getting so many brand deals. you would think going #1 would be a time to increase her social media presence even more but instead it came to an immediate halt?? this should be an exciting time with pics of her in all these "new" places.
obviously no one expects azzi to be doing all this herself but we all know she wasn't doing it herself during her least college season so why did they stop posting for her? how have we not gotten a single wnba rookie dump? they haven't even changed her profile picture?!?!
i might be delusional but i feel like had they kept that traction going at a similar rate, it would’ve at least dampened some of the negative attention she’s been getting lately :/ she’s insanely likable and marketable and just went #1 and you’d have no idea if you started following her in the last two months

what prompted this?
i had just posted about steph being on the pod and it had me thinking about how inconsistent it’s been lately, which i obviously don’t blame azzi for lol she has enough going on. but i feel like her team could be doing a lot better at at least updating when episodes are gonna be late/skipped (bc she has fans staying up till 3 on a weeknight) or planning in advance so they can keep trailers/hints/etc on a consistent timeline. nothing to do with my support for her/the pod and i still listen when i can but it was so much more fun and engaging when we were getting hints and teasers, like they had me losing sleep for guests i had never thought twice about before. if it’s not sustainable for her rn then it just is what it is but idk they could at least be communicating breaks or a hiatus or something like they did in march
also i don’t expect azzi herself to be active on social media but i feel like it kinda sucks that her accounts have been quiet since the draft aside from like 1 ad and a tiktok dance. admittedly i’m also just sick of this (p)azzi fc civil war and i need us to find other things to talk about lmao but it feels odd that so much momentum just died as soon as she got drafted
