dragging through the days of the week, your skin practically buzzed the moment friday rolled around. no matter how brutal tutorials had been that day, taking a deep breath and remembering that in just a few hours you would be all dolled up, walking into the deafening, sticky hug of a theta chi party filled with cheap beer in red solo cups, made it all worth it. you shot the sky a quick nod, thanking the universe for the sheer existence of frat fridays.

"oh my god, im so sorry," you uttered, backing away with your hands raised in mock defeat.

"hey, no worries," he replied, his voice a low drawl. before you could retreat any further, he gently caught your wrist and with a slight tilt of his head, he pulled you back into his space, resting your hand over his shoulder. raising a red solo cup with his other hand, he took a deliberate sip, his eyes locked onto yours.

"you good?" he asked, letting go of your wrist only to slide his hand down to rest on your waist. a flicker of concern crossed his features as he noticed your slightly overwhelmed state.

"of course, jus’ wanted to get away from being pushed around," you replied, chuckling. your fingers found their way to the nape of his neck, lightly twirling the roots of his hair. his eyebrow arched at the subtle invitation. he let out a low chuckle, finished his drink in one swallow, and set the empty cup on a nearby table.

"wanna head out for some fresh air?" he offered, staring down at you intensely, scanning every inch of your face.

"hmm... in a bit," you murmured with smirk. you slid both arms over his shoulders, interlocking your fingers behind his head, and stepping in to pull him down into a kiss. a muffled hum of surprise escaped him, but he wasted no time returning the favor. his free hand slid up to cradle your cheek.

the kiss was bruising and wet, tasting of cheap alcohol and sudden, dizzying heat as your tongues tangled, instantly melting into the perfect rhythm. his hands began to wander, tracing your back and face with hungry curiosity. one hand raked up from your hip to your shoulder blades, palm flat against the bare skin of your tops cutout, while his other hand remained anchored on your cheek, fingers tucked just beneath your ear to pull you deeper into the kiss.

"lets take this to my car, yeah?" he murmured, raising an eyebrow. you could only nod eagerly in response, completely in awe at the sight in front of you.

"atta girl," he chuckled. adjusting the cap on your head, he pulled the brim down to shield your face, claiming you from the crowded room in one quiet move. he gave the brim a playful flick, then grabbed your wrist to drag you behind him. his broad shoulders parting the swarm of bodies, clearing a path just for you. you fucking scored.

a single, heavy blink was all it took for the crowded frat house to vanish. next thing you knew, the world skipped forward and you were pressed tight against him in the backseat of his car. tangled hands instantly found bare skin again as you straddled his lap. caging his hips with your thighs, you leaned in close, the sound of your pants loud in the quiet, tinted privacy of his bronco.
