All about growth

I need attention.

Lightening and rain

fall down onto the ground;

listen to it with me.

I need you to find peace

in the electricity that

we create. The kind we

can only create

if you open up.

Sharing the parts

that you didn’t share

before. Spill your heart

onto our hard wood floors,

let me pick them up and

hold them in my hands;

your fears, no more.

I will let my own truths

pour out; tell me where 

to empty them…I need to soak

in lavender filled bath tubs

when days are too sunny

and supposedly happy.

When I cry in the middle

of a beautiful summer day,

I need you just to breathe.

I don’t need a savior. Tight

grasps are helpful but not

necessary. On those days,

I can fall in love with my

darkest self. I don’t need

validation; only needing you

there after the day is done.

Don’t call me crazy.

Dig deeper into the hallow

parts of my chest and find

the beauty that lives in the

sadness. Don’t forget that I

am human. Nothing more than

skin and bones, bruises and flaws,

brokenness and in progress healings…

I’m just here and I would like

3 years it took this girl to turn this piece of truck garbage into her home and it was beautiful. 😍😮 Have a good trip!
