-Childhood best friend/crush ended up hurting a lot of his loved ones due to mental illness and unresolved trauma, he shows her compassion and tries to support her during her worst moments (literally invented a way to rewind time for a few seconds and rewinds time over and over again causing harm to himself just to stop her from committing suicide) but doesn’t show her complete mercy when she’s actively harming people and will fight her as much as he doesn’t want to when it comes to protecting others.

-Man got sent to another dimension where he had his happy ending and got together with his childhood crush and gave it up so 1) he could go back to his world and actually continue to work towards the happy ending his people deserved and 2) the Ekko of his dimension could have his life back. Man knew it wasn’t right to stay there and stuck to good morals!!!

-He has his silly moments and serious moments but when it comes down to it he’s been through a lot. Lost his father figure, his older sister figure, his childhood crush, his friends, witnessed police brutality, the effects of some of his found family being groomed/going down a dark path, and he STILL chose kindness and he STILL chooses to keep moving forward and he STILL shows compassion to others, but not weakness. This man ended up growing up alone and left behind and STILL fights for a better world for everyone, whereas the rest of the main/side characters end up doing shit for themselves most of the time.

-This young adult man has been through so much from family trauma to dimension hopping and is still intelligent and resourceful and kind enough to continue creating new inventions for people. He and Stanford Pines would bond over the similar situations they’ve been through and interests they have and Stanford would love to pass the torch down to the younger generation that’s proven that they can handle the work.

-I saw some people questioning his age. For anyone questioning his age, all characters in the sexyman polls have been verified to be of adult age. For any doubters, Ekko is estimated to be around 19-20years old by the end of the Arcane S2 finale. For League of Legends depending on the game type/season arc/cosmetic skin/promotional animation he is depicted anywhere from teenage age to up to around 27years old, though no age has been explicitly confirmed afaik.

For anyone that wants a more superstitious route: this sexyman poll is known to coincide with the death of prominent figures around the world.

Now let’s consider the implications for a black man winning. Perhaps, a racist would have an untimely demise? Who knows! Only time would tell of unforeseen circumstances not legally related to this poll!

PLEASE consider voting Ekko, at least let him tie please!! Stanford’s brother won last year and both of them are in this poll again. Gomez is still in the running!! There’s a lot of serious competition and Ekko should genuinely be considered for a fighting chance! Please consider this propaganda in your voting opinions!
