This came from one of my old friends, and it was directed towards my friend group, more specifically @kornter. So let us prove her wrong.

I love being in this friend group. Sure, Kory goes to our rival school, but at least they're in our school district, so we can meet up at basketball games! It makes for us all having different opinions on our school basketball teams, even if those teams aren't the greatest.

I like having Kory in our friend group, because it's fun to have someone who can tell me what another part of the state is like. Like- wow.

Besides, even if I don't go to their school and I can't see what they see, it's refreshing to hear about people who I don't have to deal with everyday (like their ex best friend jeez that was a harsh thing they went through)

Having a friend group like the one I'm in has opened up new people to me people I get to actually be myself with.

If not for Kory, I would haven't been chatting on calls with our entire group for hours past nine about stuff like my interests. They're the one who starts the calls, and keeps conversations flowing, even when they have to leave.
