Looks like the cat isn’t out of the bag

there is so much bravery in forgiving someone who has hurt you in the past and letting them into your life again. there is so much courage in trying your best to seek out their best despite their reputation of pulling you down to your worst. you are so strong for picking yourself back up knowing very well that you could easily fall down again for the hundredth time. your heart has been torn and battered and shredded into pieces and yet you are still here, standing tall and ready to march on and straight towards the minefield that destroyed everything all that you were before and trusting that you know now how to trend amongst the triggers now that you’ve personally gained insight and experience from your mistakes. you are not foolish nor weak for believing that people can change. you are strong, you are brave and you are so fucking courageous. i am so proud of you.
