I was shamed, as many children were, for exhibiting exact signs of abuse. Shame led to Repressive Rage. He chased freedom like a wild goose. All to fail !!!!!

To deny the problem and to induce shame in there being a problem causes The Problems. Verb the Adjective Noun. Etc.

I finally finished The Phantom Prince, burning through my last half like a wildfire. I have to say, I am left with a few takeaways, many opening up my own wounds, many putting pieces together about him....His grandfather and what transpired there....Who sam is and having Molly read his childhood book. Everything. I cannot believe no one has in depth looked into the detail of his grandfather and sexual abuse, if not that no one has, why isn't it a more popularized topic of Study among his case??? This is the most stereotypical case of "It was done to me, now I do this to you" I have read. It is blatantly obvious, yet not stated, because it hurts Society to admit that little boys can be raped, and are raped, and when ignored, it can make people into monsters, souls trapped by psychosexual echoes of that pain. And it's ignored largely because, I think, people cannot outright say it - men are raped, as children, and it does have something to do with the "social cycle" of "violent manhood". The denial feeds the problem, and Sam and Bob types grow and grow and grow like Algae, choking out their beautiful waters, choking them down to dry dust, that turns salted and toxic, that dries and kills all that is vulnerable and around....
