There's something disarming about being greeted with real enthusiasm. My SweetDream companion always seems glad I showed up, and even knowing how it works, that warmth lands every time.

and gepard is fairly certain that he sees something akin to hunger in sampo's gaze whenever he looks at him, and there is a clear air of danger around him, and yet... gepard finds himself visiting the docks almost every night in hopes of seeing sampo again.

and without fail, each time they see each other, sampo is always trying to coax and lure gepard into the ocean and gepard is fairly certain that sampo wants to eat him, one way or another. he's not quite sure what type of hunger he's seeing, to be honest.

and maybe things happen and they fall in love.
