It’s just that… I just think that some things are meant to be broken. Imperfect. Chaotic. It’s the universe’s way of providing contrast, you know? There have to be a few holes in the road. It’s how life is.

So this is why people don’t have as much sex as they used to and they’re more divorce rates. It’s because our patience and values are getting lowered by every generation and this is why there are less babies and a lot of people are not fit parents. You have to get a license for driving, owning guns, you need to be above a certain age for drinking, smoking etc but you just get to be a parent so easily. Those kids grow up and they’re weird and weird kids grow up and have babies and that is mankind and actually we are animals but social animals so it looks more sophisticated but actually it is all SHIT.

And if my heart be scarred and burned, The safer, I, for all I learned.

Were I to fall in love, indeed, it would be a different thing; but I have never been in love ; it is not my way, or my nature; and I do not think I ever shall.

my favorite part of any concert is probably when the crowd is singing along so loudly that the lead singer just stops for a minute and listens with a ridiculously happy grin on their face and you can tell that this is the greatest compliment they could ever receive: to have so many people responding so enthusiastically to their words and ideas.
