I used to love being sick when I was younger, probably because it meant that I could stay home from school and be doted on and it was also a time for me to relieve some of that social anxiety. And I got to spend time with my mom. I feel very lucky and fortunate and grateful to have a mom that loves me so much. She said that her mother never said "I love you" and never really showed affection or warmth, so she told me that when she had kids of her own, it was going to be different. And it definitely was. Being sick is not the same anymore, it actually sucks. Mostly because I can't stay home and rest. I've got to keep going to class and doing work and just keeping up with shit in general, meanwhile I've got the flu and it's getting progressively worse. At least my lipstick is on point. *cries* And my skin is so dry...I'm pretty sure I'm a reptile. I just wanna take a nap.
