(No, I don't think paraphilias are queer inherently. We are just often forgotten about in queer spaces because y'all want to keep a clean image.)

I've been thinking of how to word this post all day.

I knew I didn't want to make this a shout-out post and name every single paraphilia; that would take too long and too many people have done that before.

I wanted to make this as heartfelt and genuine as words on a computer screen could allow.

It is very hard for me to put into words how protective I am toward paraphiles, especially queer paraphiles.

Not only have we been discriminated against heavily by straight people but also by queer individuals who promised us safety and compassion only to double-cross us when we were too abnormal for their "ethical" tastes.

We not only are isolated from society's cishet, allo, and perisex standards; we are also cast out from other oppressed groups such as people of color (if POC) and the LGBT community.

While we have gone through isolating paranoia, debilitating self-hatred, and suicidal ideation, we still found water in a dry, scalding desert.

It is a genuine miracle that we have found places on the internet where we could talk about our paraphilias without being terminated on the spot and find others like us, even if we are a small group.

I am so proud of how we've overcome (and still overcome) adversity even if other people want us to stop.

We have never let this ambition down, and I hope decades after I have died that this formidable spirit will live in this community until the end of time.

If you’re going to harass a community, at least get your facts straight. You’re saying that all zoos are raping animals, when in reality, majority of them are ashamed of the possibility of having intercourse with an animal so they take actions that prevent that (not saying any zoophile WOULD harm an animal.)
