Anti-insomnia teađľ
Iâve been having some trouble getting to sleep lately, so hereâs one of the late night concoctions Iâve used to get me ready for bed
đmaterials
lavender
chamomile
lemongrass
valerian leaves
honey
(lemon balm or lemon juice can be used as a substitute for lemongrass, whatever you have on hand!)
đprocess
brew it however youâd like, I use empty tea filter bags, but thereâs no shame in making your tea completely loose leaf
đhealth benefits
A good nights sleep is extremely necessary for you to be at your functional peak. Getting optimal sleep time in makes you way more alert, coordinated, happy and clear minded than you would be without it. Itâs also is useful for loosing weight, reducing stress and decreasing risk of illness (both mental and physical)

Sweet Cream Buns
This recipe was given to me by a friend awhile ago, and I feel it needs a little more appreciation. Theyâre super easy to make and are tasty too!
I feel one thing a kitchen witch has to master is their ability to make all sorts of bread. Itâs such a staple, and is so versatile. Not to mention how much of a crowd pleaser it is.
This recipe is a tasty bun, that when bitten into, oozes vanilla custard. Whenever I make these, they are gone in the first ten minutes. I tweaked this recipe from one of my good friends who enlightened me on this yummy recipe. I highly recommend you to try these for yourself!
Now in this recipe I will be showing you three fillings that Iâm sure you will love!
- Vanilla Custard
- Chocolate coffee cream
- Brown sugar maple custard
Ingredients
For the Dough
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup bread flour
1 cup cake flour
A sprinkle of sea salt
1/3 cup sugar
1 packet of dry yeast
½ cup warm almond milk (Or any type of milk)
2 tbsp heavy cream
1 egg
3 tbsp butter
For the Vanilla Custard
5 tbsp sugar
2 ½ tbsp flour
3 egg yolks
1 cup whole milk
1 Tablespoon butter
Vanilla Bean
Vanilla ExtractÂ
For the Chocolate Coffee Cream
6 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp flour
3 egg yolks
½ cup whole milk
1 Tablespoon butter
Âź cup expresso/ brewed coffee
Milk chocolate/ dark chocolate/ Semi-sweet chocolate (Its up to you)
For the Maple Syrup Custard
5 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 ½ tbsp flour
3 egg yolks
1 cup whole milk
1 Tablespoon butter
Directions
To prepare: Set your butter and eggs out 10 minutes before you start so they enough time to come to room temperature.Â
Start by filling a measuring cup with your milk and heat in your microwave for about 20 seconds, or until when you stick a (clean) finger in, it is just warm. If it is too hot, it will kill your yeast mixture. Add your dry yeast in and stir. Let it sit for 10 minutes to bloom.
Next, in a kitchen aid (If you have one) attach the dough hook and mix your flour, salt and sugar together. Now crack an egg into the yeast mixture and add it to the kitchen aid bowl on low speed. Add in warmed cream. Let the dough hook do its magic on medium low speed until the dough is very smooth and elastic.
Add in your butter 1 tablespoon at a time and let it mix until completely smooth. About 4-5 minutes.
Oil a bowl with some neutral oil, or with some butter and place the kneaded dough ball into the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and place in oven with the light on, or in a warm area.
Leave it to rise for 2 hours, or until doubled in size.Â
Ok, so now poke your dough and let the gas leak out from the dough. Cut it into equal sized pieces and place cling wrap on it and let it rise for another 15 minutes or more.
In the 15 minutes, now is the time to make your custard cream. On high heat, add your milk and butter and let it come to a boil. Then turn down your heat and whisk in sugar, egg, and flour. Add in your additives (Vanilla, maple syrup. etc.) and mix on low heat until it has reached a thick pudding like consistency. About 6-12 minutes. If you are doing chocolate, here is the time to melt your chocolate in, when it is off the heat. Let it cool completely.
With a rolling pin roll out the pieces of dough and place a dollop of custard in the center. Fold them over and press/pinch the sides together. Repeat the process until all of them are like this.
Place them on a tray and wrap cling wrap over them. Let them proof for about an hour, or until theyâve doubled in size again.
Now with a nonstick pan on medium low heat, place the bun in the pan and cover with lid. Cook each side for about 5 minutes, or until it is a nice golden brown. You can also cook this in an oven. 400 F for 8-15 minutes.
Now your done! Enjoy this hot and cold, they are tasty either way. It will be a little crispy when hot and soft when cold.Â
I hope you enjoy this recipe!
I love you all! My DMs, mail, and comments are always open!Â
xoxo, Angel

đEarl Grey Milk Tea.đ
With everyone feeling under the weather, or having the feeling of panic in their bodies. I decided to share with you guys a recipie that helps me calm myself. Iâll add a list of the magick of the drink below the recipie.
What you need:
2 earl grey tea bags
4 cups of water
1 1/3 cup of half & half (or any other milk alternative. I wouldnât suggest coconut milk however.)
3 brown sugar cubes
1 1/2 teaspoons of 100% pure honey
A pot
A spoon
A mug
What to do:
Bring the 4 cups of water to boil in the pot on the stove.
Once the water is boiling set the heat on low and add the tea bags. Let the tea steep for 4 minutes.
After 3 minutes of steeping, add the half & half (or what ever other milk product you chose.) to the tea and stir for about 30 seconds . As you stir breathe deeply and exhale slowly; put intent into your movements.
Let the tea steep for another 3 minutes, remove it from the heat once finished and discard of the tea bags.
Add the brown sugar cubes and the honey to your favorite mug, **CAREFULLY** pour the hot tea into the mug and stir slowly, once again breathe deeply and put intent into your work.
Enjoy.
The Magick of the Tea:
Ingredients & their magical purposes:
EARL GREY: earl grey is a black tea which represents Winter, the energy is masculine and the best crystal to hold while sipping it would be Obsidian. Earl grey tea offers courage, rids of boredom and enhances a conscious mind.
HONEY:honey is mostly known for love spells, but it also offers a perfect substance for self-love. Honey sweetens a moment, a life.
BROWN SUGAR: brown sugar is amazing for overcoming enemies and negativity, much like honey it is a sweetener for life.
I was just reminded of this blog again, and I wanted to talk about how lately, all I can eat is frozen foods because my energy is so low. Iâve started to think of them as health potions and throw healing and energizing intent into them. Itâs actually been helpful, and theyâve allowed me to slowly start cooking again.
magickal snickerdoodles âď¸đ
merry meet! <3 today i made some wonderful and chewy snickerdoodles, and i wanted to share it with you all so heres the recipe :))
â¨youll need đđ:
â¨1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
â¨1 1/2 cups sugar
â¨2 large eggs
â¨2 teaspoons vanilla
â¨2 3/4 cup flour
â¨1 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
â¨1/2 teaspoon baking soda
â¨1 teaspoon salt
cinnamon-sugar mixture đżđ:
â¨1/4 cup sugar
â¨1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon (love and happiness đâ¨make sure to make your intent clear!)
what to dođđ:
preheat oven to 350° f
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar for 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy. Scrape the sides of the bowl and add the eggs and vanilla. Cream for 1-2 minutes longer.
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt, just until combined.
In a small bowl, stir together sugar and cinnamon.
If time allows, wrap the dough and let refrigerate for 20-30 minutes. Roll into small balls until round and smooth. Drop into the cinnamon-sugar mixture and coat well. Using a spoon, coat for a second time, ensuring the cookie balls are completely covered. *To make flatter snickerdoodles, press down in the center of the ball before placing in the oven. This helps to keep them from puffing up in the middle. *
Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Let cool for several minutes on baking sheet before removing from the pan.
enjoy !!!!! blessed be đđ
also this makes an ungodly amount of cookies so this is perfect for sharing with friends!!! <3

â¤ď¸ Love Infused Sugar â¤ď¸
Love infused sugar can be used in a wide range of recipes to help promote and sweeten already love infused concoctions! Hereâs one way I make mine:
What youâll need:
⨠raw vanilla beanÂ
⨠a cup of milk
⨠cutting knife
⨠jar of sugar
How to make:
1. Take your vanilla bean pod and slice it down the middle, until the seeds are visible. Do not scrape the seeds out - theyâre whatâs needed to infuse the sugar!Â
2. âActivateâ the vanilla bean pod by slow cooking it in a pot of milk until the milk is warm and infused with flavour. Do not bring the milk to boil.Â
2. Retrieve your vanilla bean pod and dry it before placing it in a closed jar of sugar. Store sugar away and allow a few days for the sugar to be infused with both loving properties and flavour of the vanilla bean.Â
3. After a few daysâŚÂ viola! Your love infused vanilla sugar is ready to use. Leave the vanilla bean in the jar to maintain love and flavour overtime.
Lavender Lemonade
Nothing beats the summer heat like a tall glass of ice cold Lavender Lemonade! Not only will you love the refreshingly delicious taste it has to offer, but you may find yourself more relaxed since the mere scent of lavender has been shown to reduce anxiety. In addition, the odor from essential oils that are released from lavender blossoms may provide migraine and insomnia relief.

Warming Autumn Soup
My all time favorite season is just around the corner, so I figured with all these soup recipes floating around that Iâd post my own! I make this all the time when itâs cold, and the leftovers are amazing too. Feel free to adjust the ingredients to your liking.
Ingredients:
2 cups of water
2 cups of chicken stock
2 cans of cream of chicken (one of the ONLY canned goods I ever use, theyâre just so, s o bad for you that I avoid them as much as possible)
ž Cup of milkÂ
3 Bay leaves
1 tablespoon of pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 Tablespoon Fresh Rosemary
1 Tablespoon Fresh Basil
1 Tablespoon Fresh Oregano
1 Tablespoon Fresh Sage
You can substitute the above ingredients with dried herbs/seasonings or just use 2 tablespoons of italian seasoning
1 Cup of carrots cut into circles
2 cups of yellow or red (or both) potatoes
½ Cup of green beans
½ Cup of corn
4 cloves of diced garlic
½ cup of diced onions
(For a quick and easier recipe, you can use ½ tablespoon of garlic powder and onion powder and use frozen veggies of your choice. Iâd prefer it if you stay away from anything else canned, though, just because canned foods are so bad for you. Work with what you have, though! If canned is all that you can get right now, go for it.)
2 large chicken breasts cut up into bite size pieces
Steps:
First cook the chicken pieces until theyâre white both inside and out! You do this by boiling it, cooking it in a pan, baking, however you want! Feel free to season it a bit if you want to add more flavor to the meat, but itâs not required at this step!
While the chicken is cooking (I usually boil my chicken) go ahead and prepare your vegetables. Since this is a witchy stew, I like to ground myself and think happy thoughts while Iâm doing this step. I always wish for whoever Iâm making this soup for enjoys it and feels great afterwards.
Once this is done, get a large pot ready and put it on the stove at high heat. Go ahead and add in your water, herbs, chicken stock, veggies, seasonings, and cooked chicken, then cover with a lid. You could cook the chicken at this part, but I just like to cook if beforehand because you can never be too careful when cooking chicken. Beef is okay rare and stuff, but poultry HAS to be cooked all the way through or you could easily get sick. Stir occasionally.
Now you can just sit here and chill, maybe say a chant if youâd like while you wait for the veggies to cook. This should take about 20-25 minutes for them all to be cooked through. Honestly this is my favorite part because the house just smells amazing while itâs all cooking.Â
Once itâs done turn the heat down to low-medium and wait for it to stop boiling before you add in your cream of chicken and milk. I do this part last because any other time I add it these two ingredients in it always turns out with the milk curdling or getting weird.Â
I add in the cream of chicken to give it a little extra thickness. 1 can for semi-thickness and 2 for super good thickness. Add in however much you like. Now just sit there and put it on low completely with the lid on, stirring occasionally, until itâs all mixed in and nice and thick.
And tada! Itâs done and now you have some delicious soup for the chilly days and nights. when Autumn rolls around this year Iâm gonna try and make some homemade bread to go with it. If I do Iâll post or link the recipe on this blog.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe.

Relax my Mind Spell
A spell to destress and let your mind rest.
Ingredients:
Rainwater Lavender Chamomile Pinch of Basil
Heat the rainwater on the stove.Â
Once boiling add loose Lavender, Chamomile, and Basil.Â
Bring back to boil and stir clockwise.Â
Let the water boil away so the steam infuses the room and is breathed in.Â
Use the steam to cleanse yourself, the room around you, or the whole house.
Dispose of used herbs.
Reminder: if you dislike tea or are allergic to most common ones any liquid can be witchy if you want it to. I personally prefer coffee and lemonade.
