Lilies - Representing Lily, who like it or not lingers deep in their lives. Especially Severus's.

Purple roses - Love at first sight, Verenice fell for Severus the first time they met him. Adoration. Mystery. Admiration.

The three stones on Severus's ring - reflecting his past, present and future. Verenice once apart of his past, his present, and his nonexistent future

The stone itself: Ametrine - Represents their opposite personalities. Verenice being the Citrine (yellow- why is there no yellow color tf) side of it because of their warm personality and Citrine is often seen as the stone of the sun, associated with joy, healing and vitality. Verenice is the factor of Severus that's healing him and his safe harbor. While Severus represents the Amethyst part, representing his calm and sharp nature. The Amethyst is used for warding off negative energies, inner peace and calmness, and in association with Severus it represents his ability to keep a stable mind, especially as a double agent which he's practically surrounded by evil and simultaneously protecting Harry FROM evil.
