when she was still an infant, her mother decided being a wife and a mother was more than she could handle, so she picked up and left her husband and freja behind

her father tried to handle being a single dad as best he could, and he found he did better than he could have expected! occasionally his ex-wife’s sister helped out when needed, so freja grew up close to her aunt as well. but all good things must come to an end and, when she was in elementary school, her father died in a car accident. and that was the end of that

her aunt raised her from that point forward, the two of them living in the bed and breakfast she owned together and, starting when freja was thirteen, she was put to work helping around the place wherever she could

then, when she was sixteen, she began volunteering at the local animal shelter as well

at eighteen, she made the decision to move out of the bed and breakfast and get her own place, just for some separation. she now has a quaint little one bedroom apartment in the historic district of eureka and it’s just filled with as much life as she can cram into it. plants and small animals and a little tabby cat named honey

she’s also just finishing up her hospitality administration and management degree at the local community college with the hopes of opening her own bakery on main street one day when she can afford to do it herself
