AND the difference is that vegetarians still eat animal products that don't directly involve slaughter/meat (such as eggs, milk, cheese, honey, ect) while vegans abstain from all animal products.

I don’t like most meats (I really only eat chicken, and even then only fried chicken and specific chicken based recipes) and while I don’t think animals’ suffering is an important issue, I wouldn’t condemn anyone for eating them and if you made me choose between many animals or one person I’d choose the person every time, they do suffer, so excusing myself from that process at little personal cost is a moral thing to do, it would also help my health as I don’t eat much aside from fried chicken, my only issue now is I’d get so much shit from my family for it so I have to wait to even try

I’ve never wanted to cry over anything dumber than when I was stuck on ch10 of fe birthright hard (I am very bad at fire emblem and very stubborn) for 5 fucking hours, at last figured out a strategy I thought would beat the bit that was giving me trouble, only for Takumi to miss a 96% accurate shot and then die

I uninstalled the game, I’d been getting shafted by luck all 5 of those hours (literally my units only dodged THREE attacks across every attempt and they were consistently only facing hit rates in the 60s) clearly Intelligent Systems just hates me specifically

Hate when a game’s higher difficulties just punish mistakes more harshly instead of forcing more mistakes

Like Fe games generally add more enemies and increase their stats at higher difficulties, this is good! It makes it so you have to play much more carefully and have less room for error, and if you’re playing very well you can kill the extras fairly quickly it doesn’t make maps much longer

But the higher difficulties of many action games just increase enemy health and damage, not their speed or number, so the game is exactly the same if you were already very competent
