"If you believe you can’t drink some beers without passing out as that mate did then I would say you’re an alcoholic. ” 

“based on the week i’ve just had, i think i have a drinking problem, so i promise this is punch.”

“I don’t think anyone would judge you if you decide to switch the punch for something stronger I know he wouldn’t.” Kol’s gaze motioned towards the passed out individual, cup in hand. Clearly, he couldn’t handle his alcohol.

       Lizzie looked at him amused by his words. “I wouldn’t though. Kill here, at least. No doubt people are being annoyingly observant tonight.” She smiled as she slightly raised her cup and downed it. “Would make for an interesting event. So far only thing fun that has happened is someone starting a fight.” 

“It’s more than clear this is a trap.” The words were spoken mostly to himself as he took a step forward taking a glance at his surroundings. Vampires were no longer a secret, how things have changed in the last century. “So does everyone in this town aware of vampires?” If so why weren’t they trying to run them out? “A fight how fun, unless one of them has a missing limb I wouldn’t call that exciting.”

           Davina decided to wander off on her own needing to clear her own head. While she did like to have a good time, murdering a brat wasn’t a way to end the night. Especially when hunters were around. Deciding to go back, to take a bottle that wasn’t laced with vervain, she stopped. Coming across a face she was sure she had drawn before ( like the others she dreamt about ) , the brunette raised an eyebrow in wonder what he was doing. “        You clearly spell trouble all over.” She mused over at the stranger. 

A hum left the parted lips of the vampire as he was interrupted by a voice, not turning just yet to the face it had belonged to. He had sensed the presence of another but had chosen to ignore it, having a witness was never a problem. If necessary he would simply rid of the inconvenience. “You sound very judgemental darling, I am just a man trying to enjoy the night.”  Soon he redirects attention onto the stranger to extend a smile, a false one to play the role of an innocent man who simply wandered into the bonfire looking for some mundane fun. The face was of a stranger, yet he felt a sense of familiarity. Which again he chooses to ignore. Everyone had a look-alike in the world he was sure she simply looked like a face he might have passed in the past.

                      Lizzie watched as he tried to compel someone she knew, only for it to not end up working, which in turn made lizzie laugh. “        that was really cute.” The blonde motion for the other to go away, before looking at the vampire. “The drinks are all laced with vervein, handsome.” She spoke low but it was enough for him to hear it. 

Annoyance causes the originals brow to furrow, he questioned it for a second before he heard a voice close by. Vervain, of course. That was an inconvenience to his fun. “Bloody imbeciles, as if that would stop someone from killing them.” He muttered the sentence to himself before his attention turned towards the stranger. “Guess it will be a sober night.” 

luke wasn’t completely sold on the idea of combating the cold by going out in the cold, but he was never one to turn down a chance to party.  it was his senior year, and he was running out of time to become whatever the gay version of meeting your soulmate in college was.  so he showed up, his second totally-not-spiked hot chocolate of the night currently in hand, and set about having as much fun as possible while trying not to freeze his ass off.  “if you ask me, they should’ve left the christmas decorations up longer.  i don’t care that it’s almost february.  the pretty lights make it easier to cope with the cold.”

Kol was curious, close to a century he was locked away in a box while the world around him continued to move on. New technology being invented, new fashions, different ways of thinking. He wanted to explore what this new age had to offer, which brought him to the event currently being held. Though he had to grimace at the terrible music currently being played. God, it was awful, he was tempted to destroy the strange device that made the horrendous sounds. “Alcohol is a much preferable way of coping with the cold.” Even though he had yet had a sip of it. "That or cozying up with someone." 

          “ you’re really getting on my nerves, you know that?  i’m bloody starving in this little boring ol’ town so if i hear your voice once more, i might rip your head off. “     always a lady, rebekah couldn’t stay longer without threatening a townie. the truth was she was indeed starving, had driven all night to get to mystic falls. however, she knows better than to draw too much attention before it’s necessary so she compells the random person to forget everything, while sensing someone else approaching her.   “ we’re having a private chat, do you mind? “

“Seems to me like this conversation between you two is over.”  The darkest of eyes dances with amusement moving forward a hand now being placed in the stranger's shoulder. “Sorry mate but I would like to catch up with my dear sister.” Things were never simple, he had an act for the dramatics a hand soon disappeared inside the man’s chest their heart rested on the originals palm seconds later. The lifeless body drops to his feet, a sweet smile replacing the smirk. “Hello, Rebekah.”   

Welcome to Mystic Falls. The sign was glaring as Freya made her way into the town. The moment she heard that it was a small one, Freya was uncomfortable with the prospect of going there. After spending a millennium with only one year of life per century, she learned to appreciate every moment she had. Her and her aunt would explore, learning all they could about the new century. Being stuck in a small town was a terrible way to spend her time. “It’s good to be home, I suppose.”

There’s something about the stranger that stood under the Mystic Fall sign that kept his dark gaze drawn towards her direction. No comments leaving his lips, his head tilting in curiosity. Centuries of walking this earth meant coming across many faces, with time they all became a blur. Insignificant you can say, only a few stuck by him. Those who made an impact in his life whether good or bad which weren’t many. That feeling was pushed away, as he made his presence known taken a step forward. It’s been a while, centuries to be exact since he had stepped foot in the town now called Mystic Falls. “Please darling lower down the excitement.” He smirked the voice teasing.
