he leans on the younger when he can’t stand on his own, forehead pressed onto their shoulder blade as his gaze remains ensnared on the ground beneath his feet. sometimes he wonders how he’s made it this far, then he thinks of jaehyun and finds his answer. shutting his eyes, he sighs and steps forward, grabbing the hand that he missed holding; his movements are slow, his touch is light, and his fingers between the other’s crevices. he doesn’t say anything, he finds comfort in the silence.
It was the warmth of Taeyong’s hand that kept him afloat.
Jaehyun wasn’t sure how it happened but it was probablybecause they knew exactly where to find each other and Taeyong knew where tostay. It was moments like this when he thinks that there’s nothing moreimportant than being held when things get too rough for him to handle, however,Jaehyun was never a person who seeks for such warmth, he had always been anindependent soul—a lone wolf.
Kuro became his companion for the past few months ofbecoming invisible. They were together most of the times, with Kuro subtlynoting the change of his personality whenever his mind is clouded with uncannythoughts that he couldn’t decipher himself, his mutt was there whenever he’scold, but now it’s different.
Now, Taeyong is here.
“You’ve been neglecting yourself again, haven’t you?” Hespeaks, in such soft tone as he couldn’t find anything else to say at the time. They were consumed with silence, and maybe, just maybe, silence is what theyalways need.
Arms coiling around Taeyong’s tiny waist to support him, helets his lanky frame press against his side with his face burying itselfagainst Taeyong’s neck. Letting out a sigh that he’s been holding the wholetime as he felt relieved, Jaehyun made sure to squeeze the smaller male againsthis chest, keeping his forehead by his shoulder despite how awkward theposition is for their frames to be touching as his back arches.
“Where were you? Kuro’s been missing you.” Lies, I missed you more.
