Here is my cover design for The silence and the storm, one of the greatest fanfic I have ever read.

The love I have for this project is beyond measure and outright impossible for me to put into words so I will instead use the power of my hands and make it into art.

Szarekh, Borakka, Yenekh, Zultanekh, Obyron, Oltyx, Imotekh, Anrakyr, Trazyn, Mentep, Djoseras, Zahndrekh, Sannet, Orikan, Lysikor

Tried to stick to canon implied heights the best I could, but if anyone has any counterpoints for any of these I would love to hear them, several of these guys never get any sort of physical description at all </3

#it's implied Oltyx is pretty big. n he mentions Mentep almost being as tall as him I think #Yenekh Was as tall as him and then became much taller after accepting the curse so he’s like. massive #and Borakka is described as being quite large as well #I can't remember if it's canon or not that Szarekh is amongst the tallest necrons. pls correct me if this is not so #almost everyone else is just vibes #and Trazyn's height here is considering if he stood up straight. otherwise he'd probably be a little lower on the list #I don't think Zahndrekh is actually that small I think he’s just surrounded by giants tbh #and I'm mostly choosing to believe Lysikor is short just bc he’s a deathmark but I could also be wrong abt that #sunny with clouds #wh 40 #the blender of sedh #zultanekh #guard husband ncrn #howl ncrn #bossman ncrn #hal ncrn #brak ncrn #ford ncrn #ambrose ncrn #captain husband ncrn #sannet #zorak ncrn #despereaux ncrn

I've just been ranting about Twice-Dead King to my partner, specifically the 2nd book (Reign).

I honestly do think that Ruin and Reign are THE most interesting Necron novels. The stakes are more interesting, the characters are more interesting.

I wanted to read about the Flayers and learned much more about their culture.

It's not a story of kookie hijinks. By memory, I think the senile Denet and his monoliths is the 'kookiest' thing there.

It's about a guy who barely got to become an adult and he is stuck like that.

The compulsion to blink. To breathe. To feel.

No lungs. No eyes. No skin.
