Both their character arcs involve a lot of selflessness, albeit taken in different directions. Pomni leans more towards wanting to understand the misunderstood, and Zooble is more so about championing the underdog.

Pomni is gentle but she doesn’t lack the capacity for firmness whenever necessary. Zooble is firm but they don’t lack the capacity to be gentle when the moment calls for it.

Pomni challenges the status quo by trying to see possible improvements in the system. Zooble challenges the status quo by being the most willing to cut the crap and address the elephant in the room.

Pomni’s preferred method of moral support is psychological and introspective, inviting people to tear emotional walls down free of judgement. Zooble’s preferred method of moral support is grounded yet blunt, encouraging a kind of self compassion with the strength to not compromise on staying true to oneself no matter what some asshole says or does about it.

Abigail’s life pre circus was mundane, but Pomni comes in to make things interesting in a way no one else had. Riley’s life pre circus was uncertain, but Zooble comes in to offer wisdom and be a guiding light.
