Project Zomboid is 13 years old, yet the survival game just hit a new Steam peak yesterday π₯
Build 42 dropped after 19 months of unstable testing and pushed the game to 105,786 players, first time ever breaking the 100K mark. The Knox County map got bigger and livelier: three new towns, basements, tall buildings, hunting, seasonal crops, and a reworked crafting system.
Previous record was 65,505 players back with build 41. But design director Chris Allen refuses to rush build 43, says it's a sign to do it RIGHT, not fast.
