It’s immediately evident why Usopp told Sanji to wait as soon as he opens the door to Nami’s bedroom. The room reeks of heat and sex, cloying the air so thick that Sanji’s eyes water. Luffy’s nest is a large pile of fabric and junk in the open corner— from the angle it sits relative to the door, Sanji can just barely see Zoro settled between Luffy’s thighs in the corner of his vision. His eyes snap to the floor, looking at nothing but his own feet, as he steps inside and the door closes behind him.

Voice clipped, Sanji manages a “Sorry,” as he sets the food down on the closest table and turns heel to leave immediately. 

Zoro’s voice rumbles “Wait,” freezing Sanji in place. Luffy whines Sanji’s name, making the cooks head whip up just to see Zoro sitting up between Luffy’s legs, his mouth and chin glistening. The swordsman wipes his face with the back of his hand as Sanji’s eyes stray behind him, getting an eyeful of Luffy splayed out in his nest, nude. In an instant the cook is red as a boiled lobster.
