Just imagine Ziggy Maxwell and Zentella (inside the sword) intervening in this scene 🤔
Ziggy Maxwell would walk through the forest to the fire to try and stop Varang and her Mangkwan warriors, without violence, since the sword, possessing a consciousness (the Hydroid, who is a three-headed, serpentine-shaped being of yellow energy), would prevent him from attacking the Mangkwan. If Ziggy were to go to the Mangkwan, he would lose respect for his people, and Varang (even though she is his mate) would hate him.
Ziggy would only use the Zentella sword (with its plasma slash) if Quaritch approached Varang or in self-defense. Ziggy also possesses an "indestructible" shield to protect himself from attacks by Mangkwan warriors, and wears torso armor, shoulder pads, and bracers to protect his body. This is the same location where the tsaheylu between Varang and Quaritch occurs. Ziggy Maxwell would have to intervene quickly before they connect their kurus, likely by inserting his hand into Quaritch's kuru and eventually amputating it so he could no longer do so.
However, this would cause a misunderstanding. Ziggy believed Varang was deceiving him with Quaritch, when in the original AFAA scene, she was simply causing him pain and extracting information by tsaheylu. As for the hostages — Kiri, Lo'ak, Tuktirey and Spider — Ziggy probably doesn't even care about them since in his intervention he would only care about Varang, Ziggy wouldn't even tell the Mangkwan to release them because they probably wouldn't.
If a Mangkwan attacks him, Ziggy will use the Zentella shield to protect against knife attacks or any cutting weapon they may have. I think Ziggy could have a good chance of succeeding and thus trying to distance Varang and the Mangkwan from the RDA and Quaritch.
