"Bai Yu sleeping on the floor, possibly, maybe"
PINING. This fic is made entirely of pining, as the summary probably already suggests, lol. It's present-day and 'canon-compliant', and Bai Yu is doing a lot of sleeping on the floor until he's not.
I have a lot of it written, but I don't have some of the key points fleshed out, including the beginning, hah. But basically they're at the same event and Long-ge quietly panics, and obviously Bai Yu can see that and takes him to his room before other people can see it too. And he doesn't even intend to enter the room, but of course he does. And he ends up sleeping on the floor for most of the night even though Long-ge is like 'the bed is big', and then there's even more pining and also hand-holding in the dark.
So it takes a while before they end up in the same bed, but of course they do. :D And then another key point I don't have is the ending - happy/hopeful? Bittersweet? Back to 'canon-compliant'? Do I free them from the pining? Who knows.
Also, snippet! It doesn't have many snappy snippets, now that I look at it, but I have so much of it written that I'm not leaving it snippet-less. :D
"Will you be here in the morning?" "Yeah. Yeah, I will." He needs to leave before seven, but he can figure it out then. His head will need to figure it out, because his heart is done for. "Promise?" "Promise."
"Zhubai and their night in, sort of"
It's "sort of" because it's written for the Guardian Bingo prompt "night in", but it actually all happens because Zhu Yilong had a night out. Kind of what I already did in A Quiet Celebration (I like this concept, what can I say :D), but he didn't skip the party and now he's even more exhausted. Bai Yu is waiting at home and there's lots and lots of soft, tired, sleepy cuddling.
And that's all this ficlet was supposed to be - I finished the first draft weeks ago, all G-rated, and I was like 'I'm posting it tomorrow', and then it turned out that they're not gonna stop at cuddling, and now I have an unfinished E-rated version too. xD Still 100% tooth-rotting fluff, and I would say that the second version is one of the most self-indulgent things I've ever written, but nah, at least half of what I write is wildly self-indulgent, so it's probably on the same level in the end.

"Rest, Long-ge. You did so well," Bai Yu says, with the absolute conviction of someone who spent the last few hours in the audience and not in a blanket nest. "How do you know?" Zhu Yilong murmurs, smiling into the softness of Bai Yu's sweater. "You always do," Bai Yu says simply, and now Zhu Yilong has to kiss him. He lifts his head without opening his eyes, leaving clumsy pecks along Bai Yu's jaw until one of them lands near the corner of his mouth, parted to kiss him back. Zhu Yilong sighs with satisfaction and melts into Bai Yu's sweater again.

How many letters of the alphabet have you used for starting a fic title? One fic per line, 'A' and 'The' do not count for 'A' and 'T'.
I'm only doing one fandom (Guardian and Guardian RPF) because I can. :D I didn't look at any art until I did all the letters, and then I added art for the two letters that didn't have fics (J and V). (And whenever there were options to choose Zhubai, I chose Zhubai, ngl. :D Many letters had 5+ fics to choose from btw, asdfhdjkl;)
I have nothing for U (I have no idea how, it's such a useful letter, and now I want to name a fic un[something] asap ;D), X (even though I've possibly started actual fics with 'Xiao Bai' or 'Xiao Wei', but not titles) and Z (I have definitely started fics with 'Zhao Yunlan' and possibly 'Zhu Yilong' too). He didn't do that.
