One scene from "Blade Runner" which SHOULD have been in it, and which was rehearsed and storyboarded and choreographed etc, but cut, was the snake dance sequence involving the replicant Zhora salome, played by Joanna Cassidy. (instead we get to see Deckard's reaction to watching it, and some VO work from the MC of the club, suggesting that whatever she's doing is too risque to be shown on screen)
Back in 2013 however, Ms Cassidy, who has been endlessly asked about why we never got to see the dance on screen, decided that enough was enough and make her own take on the scene....
Fair play to Joanna Cassidy, then aged 68, for achieving it so well.
