It’s easy to fall into a rhythm with the two of them. 

Stolen moments stitched together with the promise of a minute more were enough to tie you over when it was just friendship between the three of you. When A few stolen kisses here and there accompanied wandering hands. The space between the kitchen table and a king-sized bed was surmountable. But only when it meant that Valtteri would hold your hand, or when it meant that Guanyu would reach out to touch the curve of your ass when you made it up the stairs. 

Distance had no place between you. Not when you found yourself between the two of them. Not when you had your legs on either side of Valtteri’s hips, and Guanyu kissed the space between your shoulder blades. A hand wrapped around your throat forces you to tip your head back. There are lips waiting for you there, ready to kiss the pulse point underneath the skin of your neck. 

Guanyu talks about love, whispers affection into his drink after a silly game. 

Everything changes after that. 

Fingers entwine as hands come to rest above your head. You’re holding Guanyu’s hand as you pull Valtteri close for a kiss. The three of you don’t know who said ‘I love you’ first, but it hardly matters when those words come so naturally regardless. 

There are stars burning behind your eyes when Guanyu slips inside of you, only for Valtteri to lean down and put his mouth on you at the same time. If the previous endeavours between the three of you were classified as fucking, this is surely different. Yes, Guanyu still calls you a pretty whore before he spits in your mouth, but the slight squeeze of his hands against your hips tells you that the word ‘our’ is included in the sentiment. 

They have you crying out their name when they finally give you what you want. All it takes is a final chorus of ‘I love you’s’ before the three of you fall asleep. With your cheek resting against Valtteri’s shoulder, one of your hands in Guanyu’s hair, and the two men holding hands while their arms lay sprawled out on top of you. 

Of course, Valtteri is the one who makes breakfast in the morning. 

You find half of the bed empty when you wake up in the morning. Guanyu still snoring at your side with one of his legs kicked out from underneath the covers. You have half a mind to reach out and tickle him awake, but yesterday has been exhausting, and there is some enjoyment to be found in simply watching him sleep. He looks exceptionally peaceful when he sleeps between Valtteri’s sheets. 

As you eat your breakfast, you can’t help stealing glances between bites. You sit between Valtteri’s legs, his back pressed against the headboard, careful not to wake up the sleeping partner as he feeds you bites of the breakfast he has prepared. 

Love is incredibly simple when it’s like this. 

Eventually, you and Valtteri notice that Guanyu is awake. Staring at the display of affection before him with eyes that still bear the remnants of sleep. He doesn’t move, just stares. Distance never had a space between the three of you to begin with, and it most certainly does not have any now. 

You open your mouth, ready to say something, ready to ease the mind of the man you love (funny, how affection turns to lust, only for it to turn to love.) The truth which lays between you, scattered around the floor like the pieces of clothing you’d discarded yesterday, but if it was up to you, it only speaks of a future. 

Valtteri speaks before you can even try and calm Guanyu. 

“You know,” he starts, kissing the top of your head. “If you hadn’t said something, I would have soon enough.” Valtteri sounds factual, and there’s not a piece of your mind that does not immediately believe him. You nod, fully agreeing with him, as you give him a soft squeeze in the muscle of his thigh. 

“Can I kiss you?” you ask Guanyu, leaning over Valtteri’s leg to get closer to the other. He nods, and while you love it when he uses his words, this is good enough for now. There will be plenty of time later for him to talk to you, for him to have the same confidence in the morning as he did last night. 

He leans up to meet you halfway, and before you know it, you’re kissing him with trembling hands and uneasy breath. You don’t know when you reached out to bury your hands in his hair, but you can feel it underneath your touch all the same. Somewhere between open-mouthed kisses, you crawled across Valtteri’s leg. Practically sitting in his lap now that his arms snake around your waist to draw you close. 

You didn’t even notice Valtteri shifting, not until Guanyu softly moaned at the sensation of the other man’s lips against his throat. The three of you hit the mattress in a mess of limbs. Valtteri’s hands resting on Guanyu’s hips as he slots behind the other, one of your legs thrown over Guanyu’s leg, drawing him closer. 

Breathing is overrated, especially when Guanyu lets out soft sounds against your lips when you continue kissing him, and you know Valtteri is slowly grinding against his ass while littering his back and neck with soft kisses. 

Guanyu is going to wear those hickeys well. 

You’re all giggling for long, especially so when the need to breathe does make itself known. Kisses before and during breakfast are nice, but Valtteri’s stomach rumbles and Guanyu has an adorable red hue on his cheeks. Your fingers entwine with his again, pulling his hand up to kiss the back of it. “We love you.” you can say it for Valtteri as well, you know it to be true after all. 

Valtteri’s stomach rumbles again, and he looks at the both of you with a rather stern look. “Breakfast in bed, then?” the light air of his voice doesn’t completely match the expression on his face. It’s enough to make the both of you laugh. 

You eat together, in a mess of limbs, too lazy to get out of bed. Not quite ready to start the day yet. Guanyu sips his tea, and Valtteri’s kisses taste sharply of coffee.
