THE BOREADS

carnis and zethes both use wheelchairs, but they aren’t paralysed. carnis has a plethora of medical issues and sometimes she’s just too fatigued to walk; zethes has crystalisation up his legs which weighs him down too badly to walk on bad days.

speaking of zethes, he’s the clan tailor. he makes the uniforms- the cloth parts anyway, he’s not a blacksmith or an armourer (i don’t actually haaaave one yet, i’ll go look if there’s anyone without lore who it’d suit). he loves his work. he used to work out in the icefields, on the west side near the arcane border. there was an... incident, as it were. the incident destroyed his family business (the shop/home and his parents) and left him a little shell shocked. he and his siblings survived; he left to go north, ended up working out of a small shop near shadow. rho ended up nearby as part of some trade negotiations, and zethes was drawn due to his power. he had residual dormant mutations which activated when near such power- rho all but fell over himself in apology, flustered and confused and stars above what the fuck just happened did i do that because i didn’t feel myself doing anything hELP

turns out zethes didn’t actually mind so much. medical attention did little, but staying in thanatos did make him wonder- and they had no tailor, what do you mean you’ve been outsourcing that, have you lost your minds?
