This was made hell to draw by my dry ass fingers

So basically, all the Dark Matter in Zero's colony are (supposed to be) connected to Zero. They might have a few individual traits, but for the most part Zero can see and hear everything his Dark Matter can. Likewise, each sibling is able to see and hear everything that the rest of the colony can. Dark Matter that leave the colony can sever the connection between themself and Zero, but doing so is probably one of the most painful things a Dark Matter can do. Gooey and Blade are exceptions of course because they were never connected to the hivemind to begin with.

ANYWAY, after Zero dies in DL3 that severed all connection between him and all of the other Dark Matter in the colony. In other words, every Dark Matter gets the worst headache imaginable.

With 02, there's no hivemind. All Dark Matter are basically their own people at that point (though there's still plenty that are loyal to him).
