"I AM XENON! THE DEMON KING XENON!"
As you can guess, lot of detail went into Xenon's chest and main Liger head. The expression on the Dante changed a bit throughout the drawing process, going from having a more closed mouth to the current roaring action seen. I tried giving Xenon's main head a lion-like mane but might to change it a bit if I get back to my other redesigns. There was a bit of struggle to fit in Zeno's and Medusa's head into the page but managed it but in retrospect, wonder if I should have done this on bigger paper.
Mainly used my dip pens and brushes as an excuse to use on my older Higgins Ink. Do wonder if I should have gotten a smaller brush for the various lines in Xenon's mane. Used one of my pacific arcs to help create the curved speed lines. You can see a bit of Zeno's neck as a lot of official & fan art of Xenon makes it look like his heads are literally to the sides of his main head, being akin to ears, though near the end of the manga you can see that they have their own little neck stumps connected to the shoulder blades of the main body. Originally wanted to use a type of brush technique for his fur but had accidentally forgotten about it when started inking it. Also tried getting across that Xenon has the double of amount of muscles due to his large body needing the support for it. Spring break is coming soon so maybe I can get to coloring this and the other Xenon redraw, though also been planning on some kind of Devilman painting.

And here's the last of the batch of art I've made recently! Again this is me playing with the 70s style of the original devilman manga in ibis paint! This time its of Zennon and Ryo/Satan sharing a moment together, perhaps they are celebrating something, whatever it is it can't be good for humanity! XD
Btw the colour scheme for Zennon is based on this figure of him and this coloured spread in the recent devilman spinoff, its not the colour scheme I would've chosen for him but it is sure interesting XD
I played around with the different effects Ibis Paint has and they are really fun but some of them are premium only sadly and there are features I either haven't figured out yet how to do them or they aren't available like they are in Procreate, but I'm still having fun and will continue to play around in Ibis Paint, its kind of a nice way to relax for me? I can't explain it but expect to see more Ibis Paint art from me next time XD
