i don't think it has ever crossed afo's mind that he and yoichi are "brothers" in the sense that he doesn't know what being siblings is. bc how he sees yoichi is as an object or a precious thing he possesses the moment he was born. But when the day comes that he finds out that they have a relation bound by blood, twisting its meaning and further solidifying to him that they are indeed connected by something so undeniable, that yoichi was meant to be his—and being twins no less—then that would just be his favorite day now wouldn't it.
