Tina Belcher had never considered herself a hero; she was a weird girl, who fantasized about talking horsed and liked butts a little too much.

But even she couldn't ignore how much Zeke was suddenly trying to talk to her, and spend more time with her.

And surprisingly, he wasn't as annoying as she thought--he was actually...kinda sweet.

And when she questioned why he wanted to hang out with her more than Jimmy Junior all of a sudden, his face turned a soft shade of red as he somewhay shyly that said he couldn't help being drawn to his hero.

He'd never really thought about how calming a zipper was--not just the motion of pulling the tab up and down, but also the sound of the zip, zip, zip, marking the control of being able to open and close something at will.

On the one hand, it was like an easily accessible fidget toy, but on the other there was a certain psychological power he'd never appreciated before.

Because in the end, it all came down to this--whether he would open his backpack and give the girl with the bespectaled glasses and love for butts the little horse pendant he'd lucked out on from a cereal box, or close it and let the hypothetical live on rent free in his head forever.

Zip, zip, zip, zip....she looked at him, he knew for the noise more tham anything, but he also knew that was his cue--now or never.

Buut, for my fellow Elmabby followers I did have an idea about Elmo and Abby relaxing on literally clouds and talking about why they're so close as besties and are so precious to each other. 😏🥰
