Aside from my usual routine, I spent some time yesterday reading very insightful posts on Tumblr and watching my favourite content creators on YouTube, and then journalling some of the ideas that I gathered. I am working on better defining who I am as a teacher and I think part of the process has to go through incorporating social media into teaching - and vice versa. So, I thought I really needed to allow some indulgent energy in, which is why today I will be talking one of my favourite things ever: zChocolat! Tip: keep reading to the very end for their Black Friday offer!
And wowie, it’s been a long while since I last wrote about them. But there were very good reasons moving me to write. Firstly, their Holiday collection is out - this year it features gift boxes showcasing Paris's iconic monuments beneath snowflakes and a sleigh. Quick fact: la basilique du Sacré-Cœur is one of my favourite sights in the world and the part of Paris I love the most! Secondly, since the last time I wrote about these wonderful chocolates, some new procts have come out. This box, the Xmas Tea & Chocolate zBox 45, features them.
I would like to present their teas first. There are two varieties, Aube and Crépuscule (Dawn and Twilight). Aube is a fruity and tropical green tea, which features a wonderful flavour of passion fruit scented by petals of rose, marigold and cornflower. It was created with their Exotic assortment in mind - which comes in this box too, and includes ganache and praline fillings with coconut, lemon, rose, coriander, pistachio, sesame, or violet. Crépuscule is a spicy black tea, reminiscent of masala chai as it includes cinnamon bits, cloves, green cardamom, pink peppercorn, ginger, coriander, sweet apple bits and orange wedges, which pairs perfectly with the Traditional assortment - also included.
The other new addition is the zBars range. These chocolate bars are very similar to their Z chocolates (which as you can see in other reviews feature two different fillings including praliné), but instead of the caramel there is a biscuit filling. This translates to a less sweet (and way crunchier) treat that tastes like heaven. With two dark chocolate and one milk chocolate bars, this box gets rounded and offers many different options for a variety of palates. Though I absolutely love their Zs, the bars have quickly become my family’s favourite.
zChocolat offers way more than exquisite chocolates: it delivers an indulging, luxurious experience that works great as a gift, but which is also peak self-care. Now, something I already mentioned at the beginning: starting Black Friday until Cyber Monday, they are doubling the amount of chocolate on all orders placed online at no additional cost. Paired with their worldwide express delivery, this in an irresistible offer!
