my favorite thing on the internet is microfandoms, very niche, specific groups that have everything a fandom needs: inside jokes, headcanons, dots that can be connected. everything.
an amazing example of this is those channels that read social media posts with minecraft parkour in the background, specifically ones that have a different topic for each short.
cobblecat and shumby yt (thanks to the similar video style and pfps) have a group of people who ship them and they both make cameos and references to/in each others videos.
zauce and eclipsed VO share a lot of memes (specifically tumblr inside jokes) with their viewers and those inside jokes then created a microfandom.
even single youtubers have microfandoms.
aljokes has the meme of "baseball" among his fans which makes the comments filled with fans and people who dont get the joke.
