Skoodge was busy playing chess against Zim's Computer when Zim himself walked into the room. It was in the depths of his base, in a lab Zim wasn't currently interested in, so Skoodge spent most of his free time there.
Upon seeing Skoodge, Zim's antennae perked up. “Skoodge! Good, you're here.”
Skoodge twitched one antenna. If he'd been looking for him, Zim must have needed something. “What's up? Another evil plan I could help with?”
“Not now, but I still require your…assistance with something,” Zim said, stopping in front of Skoodge and fidgeting a little. “Something important.”
“Yeah?” Skoodge said. Zim seemed wary, which wasn't a good sign. He always had an air of confidence that Skoodge admired.
Zim glanced around, as though to confirm they were alone. “I…need you to do some repairs on my PAK!” he blurted out.
Skoodge blinked, taken aback. “…what?”
Zim huffed and turned away, scowling and crossing his arms. “Well, can you do it or not?”
Considering how difficult Zim (most Irkens, really) found it to ask for help, Skoodge wasn’t surprised at his unhappiness. But that didn’t mean he wasn’t concerned…or that he didn’t have any questions. “I…could, but Zim, why does it need repairing?”
