#zanzara

I am not a fan of mosquitoes either—their bites are itchy and they are quite deadly. But I implore you all to put aside personal biases for a moment. Some of the words are genuinely very nice and pleasant, and mosquitoes are actually quite interesting to research, even if they are a bit of a nuisance.

For example, not all species of mosquito suck human blood, such as the Uranotaenia sapphirina, which sucks the blood of annelids.

Also, only the females suck blood. Males are actually pollinators! And very few mosquito species out of all 3000+ of them suck human blood and spread diseases.

If you’d like to keep the nasty biters away, they hate certain smells and noises (although I do not recommend blasting music all night long). Some of the smells they hate are smoke, lavender, citronella, peppermint, and more. If you are unlike me—who gets a headache every time I smell something a little too strong—this might be a more pleasant way of keeping the beasts at bay.

Anyways, this is my mosquito propaganda B) don’t worry, I don’t always talk about mosquitoes (and my favorite insect is actually the Hercules beetle). I’m actually an artist on break (art block).

A seguito di un esame al microscopio elettronico e di altri dispositivi moderni, la zanzara si forma come segue:

Sulla sua testolina ci sono esattamente 100 occhi. In bocca, che si vede a malapena anche al microscopio, 48 denti.

E questi inutili insettini volanti denominati Zanzare, riempiono ancora la mia stanza

Che poi alla luce non si fanno nemmeno vedere, tu spegni tutto e senti

Tutto il tempo

Fa freddissimo e ci stanno ancora le zanzare

Ma una volta non ci stavano solo in estate?

O è una di quelle leggende metropolitane che sapevamo da bambini e che però non è mai stata vera?

Gli istinti esistono, ed anche i desideri e la volontà di potenza. Ma esiste anche l'educazione, il rispetto e la richiesta dell'altrui consenso.

Non possiamo agire sempre d'istinto.

Non si può rispondere solo alle ragioni del cuore, della pancia e dei coglioni.

Quando la cosa ci riguarda personalmente, ce ne rendiamo conto e chiediamo rispetto, buone maniere e razionalità.
