this brings back memories, doesn't it? thank-you-request #5 also went to my love @stuff-and-such-art, who kindly requested eots zolf and hamid. drawing them again felt like coming home <33 i thought it would be cute, for a switch, to have hamid be the one learning from zolf. a very sweet way of learning that art is hard.

The prompt was a bright wholesome magically wedding and im happy to deliver it <3

Hamid is a brown-skinned Egyptian Halfling with short curly brown hair and scaly skin, he is wearing a purple patterned suit with a brass button up shirt and a plaid cravat. Zolf is a white dwarven man with short white hair and a intricately braided beard, he is wearing a blue suit with plaid accents and kilt with a purple and brass sash.
On the first page Hamid and Zolf stand facing each other, each of them have one hand outstretched holding each other. Oscar a white man in a blue suit stands in front of them with his eyes closed and his hands wide open casting an illusion of their history, both the good and the bad. From top to bottom the scenes are: Zolf embracing Hamid in Japan, Hamid sitting outside Zolfs door in Paris, Zolf and Hamid writing their book together, and Zolf and Hamid arguing in the last Londan arc.

Man just like... Epilogue Zamid gives me the feels whether that's romantic or platonic or what cause like, they spent the whole campaign failing to really work together and really get along and I'd pretty much just accepted that like, the endgame for these characters was just some people can't work it out and they're probably not going to continue to work together once they're not forced to by dire circumstances and then when epilogue three rolled around and they actually got along and we're friends and like, it wasn't that they were only working together because of the stress of the situation, with the stress of the situation lifted and enough time to grow they did actually find common ground like yes!
This has been my sleep deprived rant about Zamid, pls enjoy I guess.
