#zag toons

I never liked Jeremy Zag and I hate that he has a control over miraculous ladybug. A lot of show's problems can be traced back to Zag.

If it feels like the show is designed to sell toys and merch rather than to tell a story, that's because it is. Zag has focused on one thing and one thing only from one. His own profit.

The special episodes are supposed to function as backdoor pilots for potential spin offs. They have a higher budget but they don't affect the show at all. They are barely canon.

Zag is also putting a lot of money into producing his movies that's not even canon. Thomas Astruc isn't even involved in writing. That movie is not going to add anything to the show. All its going to do is give Zag more money.

The show doesn't repeat villains because the writers are lazy but rather because they don't have the budget to have new villains. If anything the writers are forced to work with the same villains.

All the leaks, episodes airing out of order, the bad animation quality, all of this is Zag's fault. He owns the show. He is responsible for anything and everything that's wrong with the show and he above anyone else should be held responsible for it.

My point in saying all of this is Zag has been greedy for years. Because of it, the show and the people working on this show have been suffering. The voice actors deserved better. Animators at SMAG deserved better.

So maybe just maybe instead of nitpicking the show, complaining about continuety mistakes or bad animation, insted of hating the writers and DQ and other animation studios can we focus on the root of all the problems with show?

There would be a small group of individuals in Paris that try their best to prevent Akuma attacks before they happen by helping cheer up the individuals targeted by Hawkmoth, and each one specializes in a different way in cheering a person up.

One would be a professional chef that drives around in a food truck, making delicacies to help bring smiles to people’s faces. Their belief is that a good meal and full bellies can cheer anyone up.

Another would be a therapist that helps people move on from whatever happened, whether it be a pet death or a break up. It would always be optimal to get the person in a right state of mind after a traumatic event after all.

The third would be an aspiring musician that is slowly growing in fame and can tell what music a person likes in the blink of an eye, so they play it on some speakers for karaoke or give them headphones to listen to the music privately for them if they’d like. They’re aware that they need to back off sometimes.

The last main member would be a young teen that wants to become a comedian when they grow up and they help by showing other people cute internet videos and telling jokes. They believe that laughter is the best medicine.

They would also have scouts all across Paris to watch for any approaching Akumas along with people looking for anybody running off crying or fuming. That way they know where to go and fast. If they spot an Akuma, they post to a sort of alert blog that a villain might be approaching, and it also serves as a sort of alert for Ladybug and Chat Noir.

This team would be called

The Akuma Evilization Prevention Squad (A.E.P.S. For short)

I know that after the giant ice cream man, a musical pirate should not impress me that much, BUT FUCK IT! This episode had Ladybug and Chat Noir fighting a musical pirate and it was glorious!
