The DWP states that anybody in 21 hours or more of education is not eligible for Carer's Allowance. Studies show that young adults who receive Carer's Allowance are 3x more likely to not be in education, employment, or training (NEET). This system is forcing vulnerable, working-class young adults to pick stagnation over living life because we are not allowed to choose anything else if we want financial support.

I've only found out recently that I've got ADHD after missing out on my entire teenage years and most of my 20s due to severe mental health problems. The second it looks like I can start living my life thanks to this diagnosis Farage and his goons decide that targeting people with hidden disabilities is gonna be the new trend.

If a Reform government take my PIP away then I won't be able to afford my meds or my therapy and because of how hostile employers are to people with disabilities and mental health issues I'll be forced to either mask my ADHD until the stress kills me or live the rest of my life rotting on benefits, all of this on top of having a mum who has MS that could also be targeted for her hidden disability.

That being said, our current government is actively spreading misinformation and lies about marginalised groups in the UK. They’re using an attack on the Jewish community as a tool for their Israeli propaganda, demonising Palestine marches that had NOTHING to do with the attack, they’re actively erasing the Muslim man who was attacked by the same perpetrator just a couple hours earlier, ignoring the rise in Islamophobic, misogynistic and homophobic attacks, multiple of which have been reported in the last couple of days. The newly formed met police force specifically for Jewish individuals and the £25 million going toward the community is arguably marginalising them more and making the wider public more angry. It’s disgusting that they’re so blatant about their use of marginalised communities for propaganda.
