So. Early on in my deep dive into 40k, I thought that Yvraine had revived Guilliman by literally kissing him. not in a sexy way, but in a weird ritual way, like she was breathing life into him. And then he had to put the armor on really fast or something, idk.

Anyways I really, really liked this idea, because I really, REALLY wanted Guilliman to be a fairy tale princess in a tower who needed to be rescued from the vile forces of evil by a dashing adventurer and get kissed awake. Here you have this big burly manly man masculinity man, and this big titty sexy elf chick, but it's the manly man who lies around and gets kissed awake! Haha! Take that, heteronormativity!

Anyways it did not turn out to be true and I was Very Sad about it and frantically searched for evidence that it was true and then got Even Sadder when I finally read the bit from The Gathering Storm where Gman revives and there was no kissing. RIP kissing misconception, Gman you will always be the Sleeping Beauty of my heart
