Win or Lose has been my latest obsession. Please, please, PLEASE watch it, or at least watch the first episode on YouTube. You can tell how much love went into developing these characters and story, and its depiction of the human psyche is so imaginative and fun and relatable and GAHHH. I could honestly sit here and talk about it for another 10 paragraphs, but I’ll spare you from my obsessive rambles. Just go support it, we need more original stories out there, especially in main stream animation.
They were genuinely my favorite part of, "Win or Lose"- Hands down ! Huge Taywen fan-

As upsetting as it was to see them break up, I understand it / it was done in a very realistic way- Yuwen isn't "bad" or "evil" for being super insecure (Especially since him and Taylor are both kids / middle schoolers-), but I also think he was his own downfall when it came to Taylor. She didn't do anything wrong or malicious in my eyes (When it came to their relationship-), and I felt for Taylor a lot towards the end of Episode 6,, 😭
The latest Win or Lose episodes were both funny relatable and devastating. I mean wow.
I love the way everyone’s perspectives shifts the tone of the narrative. It’s like a crossword puzzle. You never know how things are going to connect. I’m looking forward to Kai and Coach’s stories. I’m pretty sure they’ll be the last two pieces of this jigsaw puzzle.
I loved Ira’s imaginative spirit. In previous episodes we’ve seen how everyone else’s insecurities manifest for them. With Ira it’s a fun escape and a coping mechanism. I can relate to that hard. I am worried about the peer pressure though.
Yuwen, now that kid worries me. Soon as it opened I knew where it was going. I’ve met kids like him before, but still. My heart hurts. They used one of my favorite tropes for this and they cut me deep with it. He kinda reminded me of Blue (Frank Brown). Love is a minefield whether you’re 13 or you’re going on 30.
