Yurisere Week- Day 7: Hanami/Stargazing

Understanding other people's interests was something Yuri frequently struggled with, not because he wasn't interested in learning. He understood deep down that it was ironic given how adamant he was about sharing his own interests, hobbies, and way of life, but the fundamental reason for this difficulty was that he didn't fully comprehend what other people wanted. To be honest, even he was aware of how hypocritical that was, and he wasn't the kind to dispute it when someone brought it up. That was just the way he was, however if there was one interest he set aside his problems, confusion, and grips for, it was Serena's. As he listened to her talk endlessly about the wonders of the universe, the stars, and everything in between, he found himself letting go of his confusion for her sake because witnessing that wonder and that smile was far better than any problems he had with other people's desires, interests, etc. Because she was the one talking and that at this point and time was the only thing that mattered.

Yurisere Week- Day 4: Garden/Zoo

Today was an interesting day to say the least, because while Serena found the day-to-day duties of trimming flowers and managing the soil to be monotonous, she never found any real bordem in the way Yuri would rant and rave about the flowers in his care. Because ultimately, it didn’t really matter if she was unfamiliar with many of the terms he used; Yuri was enjoying himself, and despite some occasional irritations sent Serena’s way, what could she possibly desire that would surpass this moment?
