I grew up with a dog who was part of the family before I was even born, as well as several dogs that visited my next door neighbors' house very often, and it seems that had an influence on my drawings in that time because looking through old scribbles I found a lot of dog drawings. Some things never change I guess
Friends being pals
Been too tired to make art like I want to lately, maybe some mouse-drawn yurgoons will help
When I was really little I drew these weird round animals a lot that I called “yurgoons” (said in Russian, but it’s not an actual Russian word. Don’t know where I got it from) I made little stories about them and drew them everywhere and they were probably my first thing close to an original character. Anyway I think they’re cute and my family loved them, so I did some quick re-drawings of them

Childhood Dog
We had a dog named Chapa that was part of the family before I was born, my parents had found her on the streets back when they still lived in Israel. She was incredibly sweet and caring and loved children. I grew up with her, but I don’t think I fully appreciated her because I was little and she didn’t really like being touched, and because my most recent memories of her are when she was old and tired and couldn’t do normal dog things. She was a big black dog and barked and growled a lot so people were scared of her but she really was such a good dog.
Second attempt at felting, a little bag with the round fellas
