YSL Opium was my first adult perfume - in high school. One of my parents most glamous & beautiful friends Geri Van Leeuwan wore it ❤️‍🔥 they lived next door to us & every time she came over, in her gorgeous flowing skirts & kaftans, with jangling bangles & hoop earrings (it was the 70s) she'd leave the most stunning sillage trail of Opium ❤️‍🔥 to me, she was impossibly glamorous & when I got my own bottle of Opium I wanted to channel the same carefree chic bohemian elegance ❤️‍🔥 I remember getting the whole bath line for Christmas - a set of soaps & a big box of powder with the puff ☁️ YSL a Opium was my one & only scent for many years. Yes it changed with reformulation - I have a vintage parfum & current edp here & frankly the spirit of the original lives on.
