But she’s been here. She jumped into the future to find you - not me. To fix something your dad fucked up!” Quentin huffed, her body nearly trembling from the tenseness in her muscles, “so yes, I’m angry!”

“Hey! When I tell you to fall back, you fall back!” Amira glared at her little sister as they re-entered the bunker. It wasn’t often she and Amir traveled down from Nanda Parbat -- especially now that their mother had stepped down and Amir was running the league -- but they occasionally checked in on their other siblings and helped when they could. Like with the whole...Deathstroke situation.

She knew how her story ended -- had known for some time now -- but seeing the outcomes of it, the daughter she wouldn’t get to raise, it hurt. The Monitor might have meant this as a gift, but to see what she would never get to have...to see the young woman whose life she would miss out on...it cut her deeper than any knife.

Standing back, she watched as Mia went another round with the tennis balls. She was good. Amazing really. Felix had done a good job with her. 

Felix...

She really should call him. Tell him what’s going on. But then...he’d want to come to them and he...he couldn’t be there. He and baby Mia needed to stay safe. It was the only way this Mia came to be.

  Earth-2 had it’s problems but she much preferred it to Earth-1. Star City, or rather Starling city as it was called here, was a cesspool. But her mother had business to attend to here and her father insisted on Quentin going with her, it was Canary business. She was walking around the perimeter of the hideout when she heard the slight shuffle of gravel beneath someone’s foot and the pull of a bowstring. Q turned quickly, stance lowered and jaw unhinging ready to scream then she saw the woman’s face. “Christ, do you always draw first, greet later?” Q released the tension in her body and she huffed in annoyance.
