My next Young Heroes: Unlimited character is the powerhouse, Princess Champion. Princess Champion is the co-captain (along with Emerald Star) of a team of young super powered individuals that defend the earth from evil. She found her way onto the team while on a mission from her native country to find an opponent worthy enough to challenge her rite of passage to becoming queen. After months of searching the globe, Champion had nearly given up hope of finding such an opponent until she randomly stumbled upon an epic battle between the famed super hero, Emerald Star warring with a powerful villain in the city streets. Enthralled and overjoyed by the might of this newfound hero, she thrust herself into the fight hoping to finally end her mission. The trio create a devastating battleground while Champion proclaims her challenge to Emerald Star. Utterly confused by the intrusion, Emerald Star manages avoid Champion long enough to corner the villain, but not before Champion interrupts with a powerful take down of the hero. Finally fed up with her meddling, Emerald Star unleashes an attack that floors Champion and puts an end to her assault (temporarily that is). Unable to return to her homeland before finding a way to triumph over her intended challenger, Champion agrees to fight alongside Emerald Star until she is strong enough to defeat him. Over time however, she finds herself conflicted by the idea of completing her mission upon realizing she has come to respect and admire Emerald Star. More to come.
