Theodore Beaulieu does just about everything you see on this feed. With a professional career that spanned over 15 years in the apparel industry in LA, New York, Paris, Japan and Canada, Theodore learned all he knows from pure experience. : : "Graduating from Parsons School of Design as a POC was a coupe, but it often meant I had a target on my back. Hired by Perry Ellis as a design associate, my white colleagues didn't do nearly the work I did in order to be taken seriously during our Friday design meetings. I just learned the lesson very quickly that if I wanted to rise in the ranks, I had to be better; better than my colleagues, upper creative mangment, even my boss. I had to anticipate every iota of trends; colorways, fabric forecasting, garment style and silhouettes, I had to do it all, and for less that what many were making on my level. I never complained, I made companies dependant on my genius. I made them hundreds millions. I would then make soft demands, if those demands were not met, what I've clearly earned, I left. I always had companies after me because they knew I'd do the work of ten people.
