My May TBR

So May has unintentionally become a red and black colour theme! I keep my tbrs quite low-key because there’s nothing worse than feeling like you have to rush reading to fit in all the books you wanted to get to.

Instead I usually pick about 5 books that I’m DESPERATE to read and anything in addition to that is a bonus!

So for May I’ve chosen:

The loves

That do not culminate,

Are perhaps the ones

To mourn the most.

The what ifs

Keep me up at night,

A constant chant

That whirls in my mind.

It is so much easier

To pretend

That what didn’t happen,

Would have been lovlier than what did.

I have to hope dearly,

That our love

Would not have been final,

That we were not supposed to intertwine souls.

Yet, I have doubt.
