#OatmealYeti from @greatdividebrew. The roads are still frozen from last night's events. Well, we can't go anywhere, so we might as well drink. This version of Yeti is unfortunately my least favorite. They replaced Belgian Yeti with this variant a couple years ago. The Belgian variation was actually one of my preferred version of the #ImperialStout. Anyway, I still really enjoy this brew. Yeti, in all forms, is always welcome in my beer glass. The Oatmeal version is actually brewed with raisins, which kinda gives the big roasty brew a slight dark fruit almost cola flavor. I've got some of the other Yeti siblings in the beer fridge, maybe I'll do a little compare and contrast today. Now I'm drinking yet another #Yeti from @greatdividebrew. This time, I'm popping the top on the #ChocolateOakAgedYeti variant. The base beer's hops have been toned down a little in this version to make way for the cocoa nibs and oak barrel flavors. They also add just a little bit of cayenne pepper to give a touch of heat. As it says on the label, "Another great Yeti... Hell yes!" @terrapinbeerco has always made some tasty Stouts, especially when coffee is involved. This #MooHooChaito is a Chocolate Espresso Imperial Milk Stout, and guys, it's pretty good. With added chocolate, coffee and lactose sugars, this makes for a gnarly after dinner treat. The coffee is huge in both the aroma and flavor. The chocolate and sweet milk sugars round out the flavor. I would definitely drink this again.
