tbh theres only 3 simple things they would have to do to fix the ending that would appease most fans. 1) have allura live happily w/paladins 2) Leave Shiro and Keith ambiguous (concerning the weird animation inconsistencies in the last scenes) 3) CUT OUT THAT EPILOGUE(and that final allura in space shot iguess). It wont fix the bad writing of the season and the original pain we felt but showing that they do care about feedback means something at least. to me thatd be suffice

Wow I came back to your blog and saw all this shurtis mess so I'm gonna tell you a funny story. At a panel I was at someone in the audience was asking a question and so he was put on screen. His friend sitting next to him was cosplaying as a shirtless Armstrong from FMA and the whole time during the question armstrong was bouncing his pecs onscreen and everyone including the panelists were loling so hard. The guest gave the guy an xs tshirt to wear and flex in front of everyone the end :D

Lol a while ago I saw antis think they're morally superior enough to say that if keith called lance his bro they would stop shipping kl altogether. Nice try you aint fooling anyone. $100 they wouldnt be crying about the lack of platonic male relationships and that found family shouldnt be twisted into romance! In fact they would be saying stuff we've been saying like "feelings evolving into romance/keith unable to express true feelings 4 shiro" No one would be screaming incst at all which sucks

Kinda sad how antis are think that stories having the rep they want mean it has a good plot. Like when s7 dropped and antis got mad suddenly the series they loved had terrible writing from the beginning. We see antis flocking to she-ra because its promising all the rep so I bet even with the most predictable plot antis will be praising the show because of it. Same thing with that leakira au everyone was hyping it up because of the "diversity" but no one was rly discussing its plot lol

Dubs might not be for everyone but one good thing about it is that you can interact freely with the voice actors and they could tell funny stories or hcs or say stupid lines in character. My friend went to a seiyuu panel and he wasnt rly allowed to say much stuff because of his contract but a panel for the K Project eng dub was one of the funniest memories I have from a con. Ik there are tons of silly interactions among seiyuu 4their anime but theyre usually hard to access/not subbed.
The English dub actors are a bunch of fun, lovely, nice people! I don’t see them much at cons (I’m selective with the guests I get autographs from because I don’t watch dubs much so I don’t know them well and I’m also super nervous meeting con guests), but I’ve heard great things! Seiyuu events look very fun too but yeah, they’re not as engaging (on a personal/individual level).
Not an anime dub actress, but I saw Grey Delisle at a small con once and her panel was just so nice and intimate! There weren’t many people so she just sat on the edge of the stage, didn’t even need a mic, just told stories and answered questions. She was really sweet and I’ll never forget that
Hiii i dont follow yoi accounts on my twitter but whats going on with the movie being a prequel instead of flashbacks? is that bad or...whats the general stuff going around about the movie thats stirring some backlash
There’s a screening of Yuri on Ice (just the series/s1) in theaters in Japan right now, and they showed a trailer for the movie. It’s apparently going to be about 17 year old Victor competing in the Olympics! So obviously a prequel.
Tosshi (Yuuri’s VA) is doing promotion for it too though so people are assuming that Yuuri’s gonna be in there as well (as a 13 year old, Tosshi’s voiced convincing middle school characters before so it checks out), so maybe the most we’ll see is little Yuuri crushing on Victor? But I guess some fans are upset that it’s a prequel for a few reasons. The main one being that means no Victuri. Another reason being, there are tons of anime about teenager characters already, and people really resonated with yoi focusing on adults in their 20s, so it’s a bit disappointing to people that the movie will be about a teenage Victor. And fans of other characters like Yurio and Otabek are disappointed as well that they probably won’t be in it/
I’m hoping that it won’t be a full prequel, and that the 17 year old Victor at the Olympics things will be flashbacks and there will be at least some scenes in present day/post-yoi season 1.
*shrug emoji* Only time will tell though. I’m trying to focus on the positive. People who saw the trailer said that the animation is gorgeous which is awesome. And also HOLY CRAP how did Mappa gain the rights/permission to make a movie about the Olympics?! That’s impressive on its own
Ugh now that VLD actually posted a whole ass video of its ending, I can see them having post lined up with a gif/pic of Shiro and [man] kissing with a terrible caption like Shiro finds true love after the war which is just gonna remind us of our anger. Itd be even worse if they purposely posted it around important lgbt awareness days to show they "care" :)) That's def gonna be the last straw for me. 99% DONT GAF ABOUT THIS COUPLE THEY PULLED OUT OF NOWHERE FOR POINTS!!
I just can’t believe they posted the full final minutes at all, I don’t think I’ve EVER seen a social media account spoil the finale of their series like that
